A FULL DAY IN THE MOTOR VALLEY
Motors tour in Emilia Romagna to see as much as you can in only one day!
Are you in love with cars? If so, you cannot come to Italy and miss the tour of motors with me.
I was addicted to "Formula 1" when I was younger and the fearless Jilles Villeneuve was driving the famous Ferrari 312 T3.
Nowadays I’m not as interested as I was in 1985 but living very close to Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ducati factories I want to suggest following tour which enable passionate about motors to see everything in one day!
Considering a pickup in Bologna at approx. 9 o'clock in the morning we can go straight to Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum in Funo di Argelato, exactly where I live. An emotional journey will tell you the story of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the myth of the "Bull".
Lamborghini headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese is only few kilometers away from Funo and we can easily reach it by car.
The visit to the Lamborghini factory must be booked 4 weeks before your arrival in Italy because authorization is necessary before entering the production facilities and see how these amazing cars are built. (tour lasts approx. 45 minutes)
The visit will continue with the Lamborghini Museum to admire the dazzling Lamborghini V8, V10, V12; the Lamborghini of the beginnings with the 350 GT and Miura; the racing cars including Formula 1 and much more! If you want we can also book a Lamborghini test drive.
Sant'Agata Bolognese is not far from Modena so that we can go on and reach the Casa Museo Enzo Ferrari a very nice futuristic structure which will show you the place where Enzo Ferrari was born and where his story is told through spectacular videos.
Afterwards, we can visit the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, very close to the factory (where we can stop for a picture). The Ferrari museum is visited by approximately 500,000 people from all over the world every year. It is a wonderful place which shows cars from the famous 312 B3 to the rear motor 250 GTO. All images and trophies, a semi-professional Formula 1 simulator, a junior simulator in real single-seater; Pit Stop tire changing test, Ferrari store and Cafeteria.
If you want it is possible to book a Ferrari test drive.
On the way back to Bologna, if you want, and we have time enough, we can make the last stop in Borgo Panigale where the Ducati Motorcycle Museum is based. Ducati is synonymous of technology, high performance, Italian style, and is a symbol in the imagination of motorcyclists since the victory in the first Superbike world’s championship (1990). Models such as the Monster and the 996 are recognized as masterpieces of design and mechanics.
The above described tour will enable you to see everything in one day! No time loss due to transfer by buses or trains!
Period: All year round
Tours of each section are only example of possible itineraries. Your final tour will be built on your own requirements, period of stay and number of people involved.
