A weekend in Bologna for lovers.

Do you want to spend a weekend with your sweetheart downtown Bologna in this crazy 2021?

A breathtaking view from the top of one of the 20 remaining towers in town is something that can be considered for Valentine's Day.

With a ticket of only 5 euros and after 498 steep steps you go up to the highest tower 97.2 meters: the Asinelli, and from there, if the weather is clear enough, you can admire the main squares, the red roofs, the other towers of Bologna and the green hills in the distance.

A kiss is a must here!

Another romantic place in town? I love to sit at this bar and have a coffee in front of the Santo Stefano church. A very peaceful place, full of history and love.

A stop for lunch in a nice romantic Restaurant? If you do not want to spend too much time at the table I suggest you this weird place called "E' Cucina". The menu at lunchtime is fixed but the quality is good and also the price is low.

It must be considered that the art exhibitions are closed on Sundays and during the weekend due to Covid restrictions and it is also not possible to sit in the restaurant after 6 p.m. so if you are not too tired you can decide to take another walk to the Sanctuary of San Luca. Three kilometers of arcades up to the top of the hill where another kiss is a must!

If you stay one more day, I suggest you stop one night in this wonderful tower called "Prendiparte" where a b&b is located on the first floor. It will be a different night spent like a prince and a princess imprisoned in a tower.
